Bowie 75: A SoHo Celebration
In 2021, I embarked on a solo trip to New York City to visit the unforgettable David Bowie 75 Pop-Up store in SoHo — just blocks from where Bowie once lived. Opened on October 25th in both NYC and London, this immersive experience marked what would have been Bowie’s 75th birthday. The shop at 150 Wooster Street was a treasure trove for fans, filled with exclusive merchandise, memorabilia, and state-of-the-art 360 Reality Audio and HD video rooms powered by Sony, creating an entirely new way to experience his music.
Though it now lives only in memory, revisiting this moment still fills me with joy. It was a heartfelt celebration of Bowie’s life and artistry, and I feel lucky to have been part of it. Check out my video from the pop-up at the link below to step back into that extraordinary day.
