Sound & Vision: Our First Night at The Cutting Room
Janine and I went to the very first Sound & Vision of David Bowie show at The Cutting Room — We attended just one night back then, but it left us both deeply moved. Hearing Donnie McCaslin pour his soul into the Blackstar saxophone was unforgettable and very emotional, and seeing the incomparable Gail Ann Dorsey command the stage was pure joy. It was an emotional evening, and the beginning of what would become many more Cutting Room shows for us to share.
