Bowie birthday weekend

A weekend to remember

Every January, The Cutting Room in New York lights up with The Sound and Vision of David Bowie, an annual concert honoring Bowie’s birthday and legacy, played by musicians who recorded and toured with him, alongside friends who carry the music on. I’ve been going since the tradition began in 2017.

This year our close-knit Bowie family grew even bigger, and we made a whole weekend of it: two electrifying nights at the show, a Bowie walking tour through the city, and some karaoke to close it all out. A true celebration of music, memories, and the starman who keeps bringing us together.

Between shows we joined the David Bowie Walking Tour NYC, a walk through Bowie’s musical and personal relationship with the city he called home for 24 years.
