Sound & Vision 2024: Lights, Friends, and Manhattan Views
Our annual pilgrimage to Sound & Vision of David Bowie at The Cutting Room keeps getting better. In 2024, the two Janines and our now-close friend Kelly Vierra joined me for a full weekend of Bowie magic, with two shows that left us buzzing. The new lighting added above the stage gave the performances an extra sparkle — a fitting tribute to the starman himself.
As always, the weekend was more than just music. Janine S and I carved out time for a little shopping adventure, and we capped it off with a trip up to the Vanderbilt observation deck, hamming it up with Manhattan as our backdrop. We made our home base once again at the CitizenM Bowery, right in Bowie’s old neighborhood — the perfect place to stay wrapped in his spirit while celebrating his legacy.
